I was browsing some of BN''s stones and found an AGS stone that I thought was out of the norm. It''s probably just me. Crown angle of 32?? I didn''t realize that AGS Ideal cut accepted crown angles in the 32 range. The stone scores a .8 BIC on the HCA.

Any thoughts?

Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Table: 57.1%
Crown Angle: 32.0
Crown Height: 13.5%
Girdle: Faceted, 1.7% to 4.2%
Pavilion Angle: 41.0
Pavilion Depth: 43.4%
Star Length: 52%
Lower Girdle Length: 77%
Total Depth: 60.4%
Culet: Pointed

AGS Ideal grade does not have depth/table/angle cutoffs.

It is outside the boundary published here http://www.octonus.ru/oct/mss/gia-agspgs.phtml in both versions of AGS''s proprietary software. But remember there will be some rounding of the data.
The shorter lower girdle is a good combination with those BIC stones.

But it should be a particulary bright stone.
