Hi all. Newbie diamond purchaser here.
Have been reading PS for a month or two and am starting to feel
comfortable about making an informed purchase.

Please give your opinions on the following three stones ... TIA.

Leaning towards the first one due to size, and it is a bit less $.

The Second is the least expensive relatively speaking.

However, the third one is
also interesting because of its better color and clarity.

Also, I am planning on pairing the diamond with two 1ct (6MM) round
sapphires to make a 3stone, I prefer a simple setting.
Is this advisable, or would the ring be too large to fit on a finger.
The ring size would be an 8.5 - if that is a factor.
Anyone with something similar?

Thanks,
John

Well, I''d pick the G VS2 for myself, but I wouldn''t be comfortable wearing a 2.5 ct. stone. I am also trying to think about the proportions with the side sapphires. I think they might look better with the two smaller stones. I think a three stone ring would be good on that size ring finger, though.

In any event, all three stones are great! And I''d suggest Leon Mege to make you a beautiful, simple setting!

Here's a chart with proportions (you can figure it out using the diameter measurements of the diamonds as compared to your 6mm sapphires). I think I prefer either 70 or 76% thinking of sapphires.
