Insurance question -

Well I picked up my rings today (remember I had sent them back to Scott Kay b/c the e-ring head was worn away) they look fantastic

like new! It cost $150 for the repair PLUS shipping which was $87! Geez that’s a bit high

. One of the ladies suggested I submit it for insurance since it was a repair. Total with shipping was $240. I have insurance through State Farm. Is it worth it to submit a claim or will it ding me by raising my premiums. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

I would try to claim it only if you have a deductable below $200. I have State Farm also and they are usually great and as long as the claim is under $800 it souldn''t raise your insurance up unless you had prior claims. Check and see how your policy is written cause everyone''s usually varies.
