Dear Mighty PS-ers:
I have an insurance question for you. (I looked in FAQ for an insurance related topic, but was unsuccessful in finding one.)
I recognize that I need insurance for this engagement ring I just purchased. My question is what is the best method of insuring: my home insurance or through a jewelry insurance company? I was thinking of just using my homeowners'' insurance, but my jeweler told me I needed to seriously consider using a jewelry insurance company. (I am not trying to advertise, but he says that they recommend Jeweler''s Mutual.) He says using a company that specializes in jewelry will make it easier to obtain resolution if something should happen to the ring. What are your thoughts? Also, if I should go with a jewelry insurance company, can someone provide me with the names of a few that I should consider? Thanks in advance!
