Insurance in Canada

I''m having trouble finding a policy to cover my jewelry, particulary my diamond e-ring. I understand that home insurance covers it but only to a certain sum and I''d really feel most comfortable taking out a separate policy just for the ring. Can anyone tell me who I can go to to take out a policy? Is it a national retailer, or does someone know of one in the Lower Mainland (Vancouver)?
