First time post here and first time diamond buyer. I recently bought a loose stone (to be mounted on a setting) as an engagement ring. I received the diamond from blue nile. It looked great on the GIA report, but when I got the diamond it would did not sparkle as much as I expected it to. In the sunlight and my led track lighting it sparkles a lot, but in the dim lighting and shade it looks like clear and like ice. I have 30 days to return it and wanted some expert advice? the specs are listed below

1.9ct cushion very good cut
color - G
clarity VS2
table 63% depth 68% l/w ratio 1.07
polish/symmetry: excellent/excellent
fluor: none
culet none
girdle: slightly thick to very thick
measurements: 7.22 x 6.72 x 4.57mm

any help would be appreciated!
thanks all

Do you have the crown and pavilion angles?

Cushions cannot be purchased by going with the numbers alone. It tells you nothing about how sparkly or well cut it is. GIA does not provide crown and pavilion angles for any shapes except rounds. Please return the stone and start again, this time, using a vendor that provides actual pictures of the cushion and will provide an ASET.

I didn't realize it was a cushion. I agree 1000%. Start over.
