Is it possible to get your diamond inscribed with certificate # after you purchase the diamond.

Is it really necessary to get it subscribed?

can I get James Allen to inscribe the diamond before I buy?

I have found some diamonds that I really like but am hesitant to buy bc I dont want the ol switch-o-ru to happen!

Sure. After you buy it you can inscribe with anything you want.

No. especially if you can identify your diamond by the inclusions.

Probably not. Once the diamond is inscribed, it no longer matches the grading report

maybe, ask, but after you buy. also some boutique labs that can do this.

We do laser engraving and occasionally will engrave a diamond after we appraise it for a buyer who has then made up their mind to go ahead with the purchase. This way, you get the diamond directly from us, not the vendor. We have given you the paperwork and we engrave it to prevent any future problem with recognizing your own diamond.

Of course, an honest vendor is a first priority anyway.

oh if you are that nervous, you can have an appraiser check the diamond before and after.
