First off I need to just say a big big thank you to Pricescope forums; especially the following members who have helped me in my first thread: Stone-cold11, Lorelei, Hest88 & yssie
In the last few months I''ve been quite involved in finding the perfect diamond to propose with. I feel great having learnt so much about these amazing things! And knowing that the E-ring I will propose to my girlfriend with will have both a ''handpicked'' diamond and a custom setting will mean so much more to the both of us.
A bit of background
We reside in Melbourne, Australia and we''ve been peeking here and there over the last year at rings from small boutique stores to the bigger powerhouses like Tiffany. We just weren''t 100% happy with anything we saw and thus the idea of building our very own ring from scratch popped up! The quality and price of diamonds in Australia we found weren''t that great and the search overseas begun a few months later.
Wink Jones!
With the help of Pricescope, I was very lucky to come into contact with Mr. Wink Jones and the journey with him so far as been a heavenly one. He has helped me find a special stone that had all the attributes I was looking for and his quality of service is second to none. I initially had worries about purchasing something so valuable from halfway across the world, but Wink has been able to instantly iron them out from the very first contact. His patience, helpfulness, prompt emails and ability to answer my phones calls from all times of the day is just spectacular.
The Next Chapter... Mark Morrell
The style of setting had been a very difficult task for the both of us, we had a fair idea of what we liked... But nothing stood out to us, nothing took our breath away and captivated our eyes and mind.
Until... we discovered Mark Morrell, almost accidentally as well which is quite funny considering the amount of threads there are about him on these very forums! hehe...
So very soon, the diamond will now start to make it''s journey towards MM with the help of Wink. It''s destined for a Petite Torchiere setting
Finally... The Diamond
Without further a do, the special diamond... I still haven''t seen it in person!!! I really can''t wait till it finishes it''s adventure and makes it journey to Australia and onto my girlfriends finger hehe...
