I know that feathers aren''t a big deal especially if it doesn''t break through to the surface. However, in general, there still seems to be quite a bit of concern over feathers especially if they are found close to the girdle.

Requesting opinions on the following inclusions plot.

Hi Cty,

You can certainly check with the vendor as to whether the feather on the girdle might pose a problem ( which is unlikely) what is the clarity grade?

What is the clarity grade? Anything in the IF, VVS, VS range is nothing to worry about.

If you are really worry, bring it to an independent appraiser and talk to him about that.

It is a VS2.
It should be fine, check with the seller to make sure the feather on the girdle isn''t of concern ( unlikely that it is) and you should be good to go.

I wouldn''t worry with a VS2 but sometimes knowing where the flaw is in the plot diagram may make you just a little more sensitive about ''perceived'' imperfections. Best if you could take a look at the stone and see if it is indeed eye-clean.
