In put on Vatche setting

I have been looking at settings for the princess I am going to buy. I have been doing a lot of reading about thickness of the ring and theres an argument that anything below 2mm might be to thin. i have been looking at this setting, does anyone have or or know anyone that has it?

I think you'll be able to get it from Good Old Gold. Which princess cut did you eventually settle on?

im going to get the .94 from GOG, with the ring being so thin do you think it will be a problem

I think I'd go a little thicker. There is are quite a few different vatche designs that have pave that is 2mm I know there are. Look online at dvatche.com

I don't think you'll have a problem, but even if you did, I'm sure GOG would sort it out ... I personally love the setting!

I assume you are getting GOG to order your setting. But I am not in love with that one. I really like the Vatche Caroline for princess cuts better. I am sure there is nothing structurally wrong with the setting you are showing, though, as it is only 1.6 near the top where it tapers in.

I love the Vatche Caroline too but agree that I don't think there would be anything structurally to worry about with that one..

I really love the setting you chose initially, Jrocksinc! I think it is very sophisticated with the taper and the surprise diamond hidden in the 'petal' on the head. It sure appeals to my taste!

Has your g/f had any concerns about wearing a thinner band? If you are purchasing thru GOG, Jonathon will advise you well. I'd feel comfortable deferring to his expertise on this.

I will be getting diamond and ring from GOG. I will talk to them about the caroline as well and see what they have to say. thanks!
