My mom is an April baby. She loves that her stone is a diamond. She also loves that its during rainy season so that no one comes over to her house to "celebrate" and leave her with the mess. My mom is an odd duck

I''ve received one diamond ever for my birthday...for my sweet sixteen, it was a .10 ring and my heart sunk the first time I ever saw it under a loupe (after PS). But it''s the thought that counts

But - to add to the list:

If you live in a US location with 4 seasons, you never know if you''ll get a warm sunny day, rain (yay for rainboots!), a thunderstorm, or snow on your birthday!

April''s birth flower is the daisy - and it''s my absolute favorite.

Also, April is usually when Easter falls, so - chocolate bunnies, Easter lilies, hyacinths, pastel colors, decor with baby animals (and baby animals start being born in the early spring)..

Asparagus is in season?

Flowers begin to come up and the grass begins to turn green...
