Amazing how quickly this all happens - especially given the I am in Australia.....

received an email from WF yesterday to advise that the ring had been dispatched with FedEx (Tuesday morning)

Its not Wednesday morning - almost 8.30 am and received a call from the FedEx office in Sydney advising that the shipment will be with them this morning and should be through customs in 24 hours!!!

Well, I have just had the call from the FEDEX people to pay import duties and customs charges - not that much really, a total of $470 Australian (so about 2 million US dollars at the current market rate - ha ha ha)....

Anyway, all is sorted from my end - all I need to wait for is for the ring to get from FEDEX to me.......think its in Melbourne so will take until tomorrow (midday Wed here right now)...

Thanks Dreamer.......the only question I have is what to do now......

It only took 48 hours to get from the US, to Sydney and its cleared customs and all of hte other bits - just needs to make it another few hundred kms to me.......

All this waiting, waiting waiting.......

I have checked the Fedex tracking so many times its not funny!!!!!!!

Hopefully I''ll have it before this afternoon!
