Hi everyone,

This site is great and really helped me get educated about this huge purchase I'm about to make. I'm hoping you guys can help me with the final step and verify that I haven't missed anything and this is in fact a good buy. It's the best combination of quality within the budget and size I felt I needed to stay within. I'm hoping to pull the trigger in the next 48hrs. Thanks so much. Below is the gia cert link and below that is the vendor link. Oh and please let me know if I've posted correctly.

Great job picking out the stone. Looks good to me. Numbers are awesome and photo and images to support it :appl:  Now all you have to worry about is picking out a setting

Thank you diamondbug. Now I'm guessing I have it appraised locally? Any concern with doing a wire? transfer

Yes you can have it appraised by an independent appraiser. There is a search function under Resources for appraisers in your area. I have never bought from B2C before, so can't personally vouch for the them but I have bought from other PSer vendors by wire transfer. B2C is a recommended vendor here and a lot of PSer have bought from them so I know they are on the up and up and should have no problem with wire transfer. Any ideas on setting?

You have it appraised after its set . You have it appraised for insurance purposes as a finished producct.

You don't have to wait till its set to have it appraised. I got mine appraised both before and after setting. The appraiser just did his inspection of the loose stone, took notes, then I had it set, and after that he gave me the full report for the insurance.
