Thanks for all your replies. As far as the insurance goes, I have my own plan that covers me driving a vehicle owned by another person. His insurance also covers any drivers and I am listed as a driver.

I have good news!!! Bf finally got in touch with the buyer and he has agreed to undo the sale. I am giving him his money back and he is giving me my title and car back. I will check it thoroughly before handing over the money. Thank you all so much!

I''m very surprised too. And to top it all off, we sold the car to a nice young girl tonight for 500 more than what the shady buyer was paying. I feel so much better!
