At first I thought it was too contrived and absurd to be funny, but it grew on me. It was certainly well-done. It was kind of like a modern-day "who's on first" routine.

Funny, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. :wink2: Anyhow, I vote "funny."

OK. It's not at all my type of thing. I thrive on dry humor and very witty dialogue; but I have to admit that I found myself sitting at the computer, once the video had run its course, with a big smile on my face. I think it had to have been funny to me. Deductive reasoning at work here, yanno. ;))

I love British comedy but have never heard of this program. The acting is well done and clever. I You-Tubed other shows from this group-the English sketch was pretty funny.

Yeah, after this one finished Youtube offered several more and I found them hysterical.
Many are just 5-second slap-stick tidbits combined into wonderful 30-minute 'shows'.

Very talented actors, writers, editors, directors, etc.

What people find funny is not universal but this 'show' really tickles my funny bone.

I e-mailed the link to my husband. He is working from home today since his office is in Washington, DC and they are getting snow. He opened his personal e-mail; watched the first skit kenny posted; started to watch more; and is hooked. In his opinion they are hysterically funny, better than Monty Python. "More modern', he said. He told me to show one of them (a specific one) to our daughter.

Thanks for sharing, kenny.

Glad he liked it.
I think this show, and especially this skit, is absolutely brilliant.

Always being curious to look behind the curtain, this skit is so funny to me that I wonder how people could not find it funny.

I suspect some people just boycott (perhaps subconsciously) any humor that might be seen as even remotely 'making fun' of people.
Personally I think we ALL are funny ... especially people like me.
I love humor about overweight, stupid, old, white, gay, A-holes with ego issues.

Sure people vary, and not finding it funny is 100% okay.
I'm just curious.
Not finding that phobia skit funny just so surprising to me, like someone not enjoying the feeling of an orgasm or the feeling of finally drinking when thirsty.

Then again, perhaps what we do or don't find funny is just another unanswerable question.

Penny for your thoughts.

Not sure if it's available in the US, but if you find it, the show Not Going Out had two of the actors in this sketch in it. If you liked the sketch, I recommend it!

So funny, I laughed out loud all the way through.

Very much like Monty Python. We need more comedy like this!

hahahaha ohhhh mention of Monty Python just makes me laugh. I remember watching it when I was young b/c mom watched it. But it was when I was older and John Cleese was on SNL one night, they redid the parrot skit (it is NO MORE. It is DEMISED!), and then I'd seen the silly walks skit, I tell you what I laughed and cried so hard I could not possibly catch my breath and I got the hiccups.

Beautiful plumage, the Norwegian Blue.

Someone sent me this link. The old pranking the young. I thought Kenny's link was quite funny but that this show is better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqehmFDMrQ8

That's hilarious.
I've watched a bunch of them.

The differences between the generations is rich earth for growing comedy.
It's also a good example of something an overly+sensitive person jonesing to be offended could interpret as making fun of the old ... and of the young.
I say it's just funny if you can relax and go with it.

I'm with DK, the first minute was funny but it quickly got old. I didn't find anything offensive about it. If you can't poke fun at yourself or whatever issues you or others have, you're going to have a hard time getting through life. A sense of humor through this whole experience is essential.

It's clever. I appreciate that.

Did you guys see Pitch Perfect 2? I loved the scene where the music producer tells his staff to take a lap, even with skinny jeans on. And when he demonstrated how people who "add value" are rewarded. That was hilarious!! Talking about examples of millenials....
