I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL 3.25CT BRILLANT ROUND THAT I HAVENT WORN IN YEARS DUE TO SIZING AND "HOUSE WORK". I WANT SOMETHING UNCOMMON, CLASSY & ELEGANT FOR OCCASSIONAL USE. SOMETHING THAT WONT BE DATED IN 5 YEARS BUT NOT SO TRADITIONAL THAT I'M BORED. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS? IT IS THREE SEPARATE BANDS. IS IT DIFFERENT,DELICATE, SPECIAL & NOTE WORTHY? (thats not my diamond we just put that there for sizing & effect) ANY "OTHER/BETTER" SUGGESTIONS FOR ME???

Why not put the diamond in a nice Tiffany solitaire and then do the stacking bands on either side? That way you can mix and match bands until your hearts content, even adding in some colored stone bands but still have the main stone in a time tested classic!

Leon Mege and Victor Canera have some great ring designs. They offer some unique, yet classic settings.

If you don't mind, may I ask where you got the middle band? Looooove it!

I went to the diamond district in NYC. Spoke to John at "Diamond Club Intl" 66 W47th Street booth #5. #212-302-5851. i believe the style # is LB-19186-183. i love the curves of it. i think its uncomon. have u ever seen any thing like it? its 7 point diamonds separated by a bar that has two 1/2 point diamonds micropave set in btwn. its 80% eternity set in plantinum.

Agreed - it is a beautiful band! I must say that I agree with Mrs. Salvo on setting your diamond. In a classic solitaire setting, you could pair it with many different diamond bands.

Is the middle ring a band or is it a solitaire setting for the diamond? I also like a large diamond set in a fine quality plain platinum solitaire with diamonds bands to mix and match. I think three shanks with diamonds tends to make the large diamond blend in to a sea of little stones.
