On using the term feedforward instead of feedback.
It is #%@#%@^$#^$#^!^$#^$#%&@$

Is it a bunch of teens who sit around saying hey, lets see what else we can come up with to make the oldies go huh?

Sadly, those 50 points will not go to the people (tweens?) who come up with this crap.
When did "going forward" become superior to "from now on"? Was the latter too ambiguous?

Sounds like trendy business consultant talk to me - a more expensive version of “advice.”

I just love the ubiquitous cheap clickbait like, "Useless Boomer habits".

Fvck young people feeling superior.
Fvck anyone who feels superior without significant accomplishments that do make them, in a way, superior.

Someone once asked, "Can we all get along?"

Is it the new ‘synergy’?

The term feedforward was coined more than 10 years ago by management consultant Marshall Goldsmith (born in 1949), who has a Ph.D. from UCLA's School of Management.

Feedforward does not mean the same thing as feedback.

Feedforward is the concept of learning from the future concerning the desired behavior which the subject is encouraged to adopt.

This is a positive tool which has broad applicability across multiple platforms -- It truly makes me sad that people are so ready to be negative and closed-minded.

and my old work (owned by the largest conglomerate in the southern hemisphere) the term was moving forward
usually after a telling off or delivering unwelcomed news
its BS !

No offense to anyone, but I really dislike this kind of stuff. It just hits me the wrong way for some reason. Maybe I'm just closed minded about it. I just don't understand how you can "learn from the future" if the future hasn't happened yet. I can understand learning from other's ideas, so maybe it's the semantics that I don't understand.

Next, let's circle back and close the loop.
I had a potential client who would have a meeting and just when everything was figured out, He would yell 360 and expect everyone to reset and come up with a different solution to compare with the first one.
I walked out.

That's positively dystopian:eek-2:
I'm just the kind of person who would only do corporate speak gibberish at that dude to see how long it takes for him to catch on.
Maybe I'd do at least one, 'Soylent Green is peeeeeo-ple!' if I could swing it.

kenny: Someone once asked, "Can we all get along?"
Made me think of Rodney King in Los Angeles after a racial brutality.

Sorry to be so unclear.

I find it goofy when people use the word "utilize."

But my favorite thing to hate on are those wooden signs people hang up with the saccharinely sweet sayings on them. If you've ever walked through a Hobby Lobby, you'll know which ones I mean. I've always wanted to make and sell deviant versions of them.
