Well after 6 yrs im finally gonna propose to my wonderful girl, now she loves the three stone princess cut and Ive been shopping around and thanks to pricescope done my research, right now im in between two settings and just wondering if what i might get os a good deal. The first setting is a trellis setting which I like but I saw this other one with VVV style where the diamonds seem to float and the center does stand out.

Its funny cuz the two different places I went to offered similar prices

The second store i believe was better GIA Ideal cut, Si1, F and .75, the side stones were .15 each and F Vs1 ideal cut I thought they were beatiful now I like the ratio cuz the center still stands out not to bulky straight. OH yeah princess cut.

I could choose either setting in wht gold. the price total for ring = 4800 +tax and I believe that I can probably knock off few more hundred perhaps.

By the way anone familair with The Diamond Source in San Diego and if so please tell...

Please tell me if this is not bad deal or what
appreciated

Congratulations on your upcoming engagement! I am hoping some more people will see your post, but I''ll give you a comparison or two if I can. What you''d need would be a copy of the cert on the center stone you looked at for anyone to tell you if the measurements are good. But here is an example of a G VS2 AGS0 Ideal Cut princess at .74 cts.:

This diamond is listed at $3342, but there would be a PriceScope/wire discount if you ask for it. They have an absolutely gorgeous setting with two .20 side trapezoid diamonds in 18K at $1698, but you probably could get two .15 princess diamonds and a 18k setting for a little less than that if you didn''t want the other. So I guess the price of the one you saw is in line, but I''d want to be sure the diamonds are the quality this one is.
