Hey Gals!
Well, he proposed Sunday night at Navy Pier in Chicago

We were in town because one of his friends got married on Saturday. He had said he wanted to go into town Sunday to visit one of our other friends since we hadn't seen her new place yet. This was just a ploy to get downtown without it not being too obvious (we visit Navy Pier every once in while when we are in town, so I didn't think too much of it). The weather was so nice, we walked around a couple of times, then sat down on a bench by the water. I knew what he was about to do when he started thanking me for sticking with him, moving around from city to city, and that he brought me back to Chicago hoping I would follow him back home (I've known since I met him that we would eventually move back to Chi-town). Of course, most of this was a blur! He got down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and then handed me the ring box!! He was too cute, I said, "honey, you can put the ring on my finger" and he said "I've never done this before" with a quiver in his voice, that made me giggle and cry! It was so sweet, really everything I had dreamed about for so long. He had also booked a room at the Knicker Bocker Hotel which was cool (great deal on Priceline per the fiance

), we checked in and then we went for Sushi at RA. Just a perfect night...my honey and me, diamonds and sushi
