I''m cheating on my future e-ring!!!

Oh geez,
Even though my future e-ring is finished & waiting to be picked up, I've been tempted by the fruit of another.

I've been swooning over the Daniel K split-crown ring since the day after I picked out MY ring, and have found comfort in the fact that it was about 225% my budget. BUT JUST YESTERDAY I FOUND THISSSSSSS.

The ONLY thing that makes me feel better about it is that I think this setting actually better suited for the cushion cut, as pictured in the pricescope gallery, under Pearlman Jewelers. And I am a 100% Asscher girl. I do think the one I picked out is the best one for me ... but ... is it so wrong to love another!!!

Just ranting. Aiirgh.

ETA: The new discovery was at Diamend Scassi, one of their new setting designs ... inspired by ... hmmm, I wonder.[:loopy]

It''s beautiful. My mom has a split shank so I have always liked them. I think you are always going to find rings you love (b/c you love jewelry) but just remember the reasons why you picked your e-ring. You COULD always get it for a RHR

last week I wandered around NYC looking at semi-mounts and wondering if I had made a mistake in going the custom route, since there are some very nice mounts that would make a good home for omc. Then I came to my senses and got excited again about my ring!

Not so wrong to look. I havent even got my e-ring yet and I second guess myself all the time. One of my new wine reps has a 2.5 ct Ascher and everytime she comes in I ask myself..."why didnt i want a diamond". Then i remind myself that I picked out exactly what I wanted, and I could choose what I wanted. I wanted a ruby encased in diamonds, and well...thats what i am getting. There are always beauties out there tempting you. Currently on my wish list are the butterfly ring by james allen and a ruby pear pendant. It is fun to look!

Hey FF! I felt better when I saw your comment in the Pricescope gallery (when I went to go "get" the Daniel K pix)

I emailed the link to this thread to my friend who''s actually SEEN my finished ring and I believe her reply went something like "Cut the s**t!"

Hopefully this madness will stop for a while post-proposal??? (Though I fear P-scope has created a MONSTER)

I think your ring''s been cheating on you too ... WITH ME. That "back to Leon" story is just a cover for a little trip to its Hudson Valley, NY admirerer.

Glad to know I''m not the only one with a wandering eye. My heart doesn''t wander -- but the eyes, they''re fickle!!!
