Illusion Emerald Band (Is it worth it?)

Hi all, long time no see! My sister in law is thinking of buying this ring (or something similar) and has asked for my feedback. I haven't shopped for diamonds in so long, I'm TOTALLY out of the loupe! (See what I did there?) Does this price seem reasonable for today's diamond/gold prices?

SI2 stones...I'd say No. Call Yuketiel at ID Jewelry (ask for him) and see what she can get for that price range. She might be able to get real emerald cuts.

I would love to see this ring IRL/ The rounds with the EC cuts both vertical and horizontal set should look really cool!
