Hi profs :-),

I''ve a stone grading from IGI Antwerp with comments : Hearts and Arrows Ideal cut round Brilliant.

Does this means the grading is for the quality of the cut Hearts and Arrows?

cut,polish, symmetry is excellent symmetry 5.95-5.98 x 3.63

total depth 60.9%

table 56%

crown 15% 34

pavillion 43.5% 41

is this a good stone worth buying, what do u guys think?

Numbers looks good, not sure how strict the criteria of H&A is for IGI, and their color and clarity grades are considered 2nd tier, looser in grades than AGS/GIA.

The proportions look fine, it could be worth buying but can't really tell without images and more info, I would be interested to know what the lower girdle facets are if they are on the report. As to whether it is h&a, no way of knowing without being familiar with IGI's standards for this type of precision cut, and also images of the hearts and arrows are needed. Can you get those? Is the diamond with an online vendor or store jeweller?
