I had a childhood cat that was never vaccinated beyond his first set of shots, lived to 22 yrs of age. Had a dog that received yearly vacs and died at 6 years of age of a rapidly developing cancer. She went from being perfectly fine to dying within a matter of weeks,all of this right after receiving her yearly shots. We have a new dog, she got her first set of shots, and will be getting a rabies shot every three years, but not the others.
when i have a child i plan on following a modified vaccination schedule.
