My mother always told me not to wear anything tight on my body to go to bed, including rings, bras etc., she said it was bad for my circulation. That's always stuck with me, right or wrong, and I'v always removed jewelry at night.

How roughly do you sleep, Danny? :D I wear my ring to bed -- not the one in my avatar, don't wear that in the house at all, but my regular wedding ring. If I have it on -- I take it off to mooch around in the kitchen or when putting on hand cream, etc, & sometimes forget to put it back on. But of all the activities around the house, sleeping seems the least ring-perilous to me. People vary, though (I heard that somewhere).

Wear your Cartier band everywhere & anywhere if it won't be injured! If I had one, I sure would.

I generally keep a plain band on all the time, however, if I took it off to make food that is messy or deal with dishes from said food, I dont make a conscious effort to put it back on. Its can sometimes be found sitting on my kitchen counters till the next day.

That is the one piece I do wear at all times and it is showing the everyday wear I must say. Probably wouldn't hurt to get it polished or replated at this point in the game. :)

HI:

I love my Cartier wedding band more than anything! I just don't like the imprint it leaves on my finger and on my face cuz I sleep on my hands....

cheers--Sharon

I'm lazy and wear the lot and then wash it with shower gel in the shower: wedding band, e-ring, pendant, pearl earrings and watch. The watch comes off for the shower of course, and the earrings too if I'm washing my hair. other than that, I live in it. I like what the OP said about the jewellery growing with you and not staying pristine although I do clean my diamond ring and pendant carefully a few times a week.

Wear it with pleasure Danny, if its just sleeping it'll be fine. No chemicals or abrasives there I'm imagining :)

I"m a pricescoper. Why would I own a PLAIN wedding band???? :naughty:
