If you had allergy shots when did you see results?

It looks like I''m about to start shots. I have dust ( and some tree ) allergies and they have worsened over the last two years. I now have asthma and inhalers don''t give me much relief. When did you begin to see results?

my experience was many years ago....and i gave the shots to myself. my allergies are too numerous to recount here.....

however, it wasn''t necessarily immediately apparent but over the years, my allergies were better. sort of a cumulative effect, if you will. it was definitely noticeable after the series which i believe went on for quite some time.

The first time it took at least a year, but I was very very bad and had numerous sinus and allergy issues. I am allergic to literally every single plant, mold, and dust that I'm tested for as well as most animals, so it was a big thing to overcome. My allergies caused asthma and sinus infection issues too.

This time around, it only took 6 months to see a big improvement. I love allergy shots! They're kind of a pain at first, but so worth it since I'm now able to be totally allergy medicine and antibiotic free.

Wrong topic! I had them when I was 12 or so for about 6 years. Worked great, noticed improvement at 6-12 months of shots. At 30, my shots have worn off.
