It is hard to pick 5. What I finally got through my thick head after many years of dating is that moral integrity and kindness/compassion were truly non-negotiable. My partner has most of the qualities on this list but those two are the ones that matter most to me. :kiss2: The rest all contribute to an overall package of attractiveness, and different combos can work together imho.

I’m not saying that physical attraction and great sex aren’t important, just that for me, when you’re with the right person, those things follow naturally :D

Agreed. I mean if we’re lucky we grow old and we get physically less attractive generally but we see our partner’s beauty from knowing who they are. And we love them more with each passing decade.

Physical beauty fades. Love can grow stronger.

Since I'm not perfect I can't expect perfection. But I do have someone who is the perfect person for me. :kiss2:

Moral integrity would be my 6th, but to me that is open to debate— moral to whom? No gambling? No drinking? Etc. I don’t know what that means just as those two words. How far down the nitty gritty do we go?

OK here is the five for me but omg I need all of the 17 qualities in the first post and probably then some :lol: Not kidding...it's why I never wanted to get married. I never thought I would find the "perfect for me guy" but he found me.:kiss2:

My DH didn't love animals before he met me so that isn't a non negotiable because any man who loves me will get to love the fur babies. To know them is to love them. And he really does now and has been happily getting allergy shots for 20 years plus.

Haha @missy! I was going to cheat on 3 too! My husband is a keeper..He is a super brain..but not funny..nor has a sense of humor which is a little challenging because I find everything funny and he gets a blank look...oh well..I’m definitely far from perfect..but if he could spare some intelligence and get some humor..I would be happy! I’ve managed it by laughing at my own jokes! :P2
 
Honestly, the thing that's missing from everyone I've been with that it's been 95% me doing all the work for the home/kids. So yeah, that would be my #1. HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
