nerf, it's a lot easier to help people if they do some research before asking such a wide question. May I suggest you read through all the SMTR thread at the top of that page, and check out the countless settings, then narrow it down to what you like and go look at those settings in real stores...just a suggestion...because there's like infinite numbers of settings, particularly for RBs...you're the only one who can know what you love, right?

Welcome! Are you talking about ring settings? Or earring, bracelet etc? What size stone...what size finger...what is you design passion? (antique or modern...etc.) Do you want a multi stone design, or simple solitaire?

Sorry ...I did not realize how open ended that post was - I apologize...

I am looking for simple engagement setting ideas.

The stone size is going to be about a 0.5 - 0.65 ish
It is going to be a round stone

I am looking for a modern, simple, and elegant setting...
A thin band is what like b/c my finger is small (size 4.5)....
I like the cathedral setting or the 4 or 6 prong....so thats simplicity i am looking for
A setting that shows off the diamond, but at the same time is not in your face....so not sticking up so much....The bezel setting i do not like anymore (ON ME)

I would echo looking through the Eyecandy thread, there''s a ton in there, with real pics on fingers, that helps.


Having said that, this settting instantly came to mind. Very pretty!
