Quick question on the IdealScope, I finally got my ring! When looking through the scope the online vendor provided the black arrows portion in the image below are white when I look through the scope it came with, is that just lighting or cause for concern? I am not sure how the pictures are taken with the ideal scope on the image below. Thanks!

Have you read on how to use an Idealscope? http://www.ideal-scope.com/1.using_howto.asp

The stone table should be just at the edge of the scope. You probably have the table too far out. A simple way to take the pic is to put the camera lens up, with the idealscope on the lens, place a piece of clear plastic/glass on top of the idealscope and place you diamond table down on the plastic/glass sheet and snap away.

Lighting and positioning probably, play around with it.

cavalier23,

I''m not sure if that is our diamond or not, but assuming it is then the viewer you received would have been an H&A viewer - not an Idealscope. H&A viewers show the arrows as white - Idealscope viewers show them as black...
