Can someone give me an idea of what this stone will look like in an idealscope? I plan on purchasing this week (..ptretty sure)

1.51 ct
7.37 - 7.41 X 4.56mm
61.7 % depth
56% table
thin to med. facet
no culet
EX Polish & Symmetry
SI1, G
No fluour. Nothing in comments. One worry is a crystal close to 6 o clock which looks like it is on table (center piece) and a feather at the end (will that feather turn into something larger when set?)

OGI has a HCA score of 2.6
with 35.1 degree crown angle
41.1 degree pavillion angle
and .6 culet (using OGI table and depth %

Thanks much.

Thanks. On the HCA it was a 2.6. Said worth buying if good price. Is this no good, or what?

What can I expect with that? I sthat a poor performer?

Will this stone look dead, or what?

Would a stone with a .8 HCA with clouds and surface graining be better?

This gets pretty confusing. I appreciate all help provided.

page of the tutorial.

If you are buying this stone as "Ideal" cut and paying premium for that - you better skip on it.[/u]

9800 for the stone?

So, it is in the "range" of AGS 0. But what does that blue circle mean in the center of the stone? Light loss?

Partial light leakage. Light loss if you will. This area returns less light than it could.

Not bad at all. Again: this is not a bad stone it is Very Good stone.

It was done on an OGI machine? Does that change anything?

Can you show me how this would look also?

6.48 - 6.52 x 3.93
depth: 60.5
crown 35 deg
pav 40.6 deg
table 56.8
culet: 0.5
girdle 1.1% (0.7-1.3)%
1 ct.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response.

If I understand the picture and the explanation on your web page, there's leakage at the arrow ends. There's high symmetry and a good balance of black and red (or high brilliance?)

But why is the table area so dark and is that leakage inside the table (pale gray)?

And what are those extreme white dots between the arrow heads just outside the table? Leakage?

If I were to place this diamond in your ideal, medium and bad cuts, this appears to fall in the ideal cut but in the low end, i.e., worst acceptable stone.

Did I read this right?

Thanks!

p.s. I may just buy one of your ideal-scopes to learn more about diamonds.
