Good Evening All,
I have taken some time to educate myself on diamonds via this site and I have found a wealth of knowledge and expert advice. I am in the process of purchasing a diamond and setting from JA and have obtained ideal scope images for my top three picks. Below are the ideal scope images and stats:
GIA
Carat weight: 0.76
Color: H
Clarity: VS1
Cut:Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Depth %:61.60
Table %:58.00
Crown ∠:35.00
Pavilion ∠:40.80
HCA: 1.7
GIA
Carat weight: 0.72
Color: H
Clarity: VVS2
Cut:Excellent
Fluorescence: Strong
Depth %:62.30
Table %:54.00
Crown ∠:34.50
Pavilion ∠:40.80
HCA: 1.4
GIA
Carat weight: 0.81
Color: I
Clarity: VVS2
Cut:Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Depth %:61.90
Table %:57.00
Crown ∠:35.50
Pavilion ∠:40.60
HCA: 1.4
Both the gemologist and sales rep from JA said the first diamond 368804 was the best performing diamond followed by 363879 and 301754. However, based upon the ideal scope images and the HCA score, 363879 seems like a winner to me. I would appreciate some open feedback from the crowd based upon the data and ideal scope images.
