Ideal stone

I am looking to buy a marquise stone around 2-2.3 carats but I only have about $10,000 to spend. I also hate when you can see with the naked eye black spots in the stone so I am looking for a VS quality. I have found on line a few stones that sound good but I dont know how to compare them.
