Ideal scope and aset help please

I'm considering buying an ASET and bringing it with me to look at some diamonds for an engagement ring. I'm looking formless shaped stones. Which if these should I use? Do people actually do this? And if I don't want to buy it myself, are there independent jewelers who will do it for me (for a fee of course)?
