...it doesn''t have a lifetime trade up policy! LOL!!!

Is that because there is nothing on the planet large enough to trade up to? 13.85 mm--YIKES!

I think I''d still rather have that 5 carat ACA!
2.gif
But that is HUGE.

Ditto, but then again - 13.85mm is GIANT!

Holy Huge Diamond! At least you save about $3000 with the bank wire price.

LOL! I wonder if it looks like a frisbee on your hand!

Scoring either a 7.1 or an 8.6 on the HCA (depending on whether you use percentages or angles) I think I gotta pass... but I was tempted there for a moment!

We could all email it as a Christmas hint to our loved ones. If you never hear from me again it''s because I did send it to my husband and he didn''t think it was funny.

I don''t know, it says it has "premium optical symmetry". You might not want to drive too close to an airport while flashing it around, the planes might land in a field somewhere!

If you got that diamond NEU, you''d have to change your screen name - I think you''d be done!

For sure! If I bought that one, I would have to change my username to "Homeless" coz my husband would kick me out!

You can come live with me if I get to wear it once in a while!
I know what you mean though. I am thinking of changing my setting yet again and it''s getting to the point where I may not need an ER/WR at all! LOL

Sounds good! Do you think a halo setting would be too much?!? Kidding!

ROFL!

Or they might confuse it with The Mother Ship a la Close Encounters, LOL!

WOW..over $100 000?? I''d rather drive a BMW Roadster !!

I would love it if Jonathan would make a video of that diamond on a hand. I can''t even fathom the size.

It''s lovely but I''ll have to pass: he doesn''t have a matching one for a pair of studs!

I would really really like to see a hand shot to judge the size!

8.88 carats LOL lucky number.

A video would be fantastic, that thing is huge

PK, Jonathan, there are at least 3 votes here for a hand video of your 8.88 ct.!!! I'll be happy to be the model.

Well, if you want studs, you could get this 5.12 ct. G/SI1, but it is about $100,000 more than the 8.88. It has a sort-of matching (non-H&A) 5.02 G/SI1 priced at $106,615. This makes the 8.88 a relative bargain, although you would have to "settle" for a ring or pendant. Either way, you most likely won't have to deal with DSS anymore!

You could probably use 1 cts for the halo

Too funny. The problem would be that you couldn''t leave the house wearing it because you would be afraid you''d be robbed. That actually happended here in Dallas. A lady wore a $350,000 ring to the grocery store and someone followed her home, walked into her garage as she was getting her baby out of the car, and took the ring. I think a 8.88 ct. with a halo of 1 ct. diamonds would definitely attract the bad kind of attention.

hee hee, thats the first thing i thought too (after the initial...wow!).

Kyle, thanks for sharing that. Unfortunately I can''t get that because I live in Texas and the sales tax alone would be $53,910.00.

Upgradable, that diamond is one gorgous hunk of carbon.

Come on down NEU and we''ll do a shoot.
37.gif
I''ll have a clip on its page this coming week and I''ll be sure to include a hand shot.

It is a serious honker of a size and couldn''t help but chuckle when it tipped the scale at 8.88 too.
26.gif
Oh and the "premium" should be "traditional" too ... I''ll change that tomorrow.
