not spread out across small stones like that...no....

figure each stone is 1 point or 2 points larger...that's not really going to make a huge difference to your eye.

if you do the calculation, the first one is made up of .035c stones. the second is made up of .057c stones. visual difference to your eye per stone? i would venture to say almost nil.

i would focus on whichever design you liked the best if the price difference does not make a big enough difference.

You know the links you have posted are different rings, right? One is the Raphael, the other is the plain shared prong? Are you deciding between the two? (My personal vote is for the plain - I prefer it to the Raphael, but the Raphael is also very beautiful!)

That aside - thinking in terms of .30 carat difference is probably not going to be too helpful for you in deciding which to get. Decide how wide you want the ring to be (maybe measure a strip of paper and put it on your finger to get an idea?) and then just get whatever the corresponding carat weight a shared-prong ring of that width is.

>Are you deciding between the two?

Indecisive

yes first i wanted the Raphael setting however after I got an advice from here,
seems like the FACETS is as beautiful as Raphael

now I decided that I am going to get the FACETS one
yesterday I went to couple Jwelry shop to take look how looks like 1ct total Eternity.
I cound''t see the much diffrence but I can''t decide which one I should go...

\everytime I see thier site
I tend to chose bigger and bigger..
maybe I will chose the FACETS Platinum 26 Round Brilliant Diamonds,

thank you!!

I think you would see a difference between 3 pointers in the smaller ring and 5 pointers in the larger ring. That being said, if "looking big" is your thing, I would advise to buy a ring that doesn''t have the stones all around. This way you would have significantly larger rings on top of your finger (where everyone will see them).

Also, stones on the palm side of a ring have more likelyhood of damage.

I remember an old dealer tellin'' me..."why pay for weight you can''t see?". I pass his advice on to you.

Bill

For what''s it worth, my sister has a Facets ring with .025 stones and I have one with .05s. I know hers aren''t quite .03s, but you can definitely tell a difference.

These are 3 pointers on a size 3 1/2 ring

Here''s a size 3 7/8 with 23 .05 pointers for a total carat weight of 1.16.

Grumble...that second pic Nan posted is my ring. Now why on earth does it look so small...grumble.

In real life, it does look bigger than how it appears on my hand. Go figure.

hehe logan I saw those images and was just about to say....that doesn''t look like a difference at all to me!
9.gif

if you would compare the rings side by side, yes of course you will see some diff as i do in my 2 pointer w-ring and 3 pointer e-ring, but that pic comparison shows pretty well how on two separate hands, two separate rings look very similar and it''s hard to say that they are diff carat weights with any certainty.

so unless you are doing 3 pointers to 10 pointers...really i don''t think there is going to be a huge visual. which is why i say go with the design (raphael or facets) that you like best, flower, since that seems the biggest ''visual'' difference between these two rings.

No big deal, IMO. Both are great. Besides, on a small finger a dainty finger a thick band does not feel very confortable, so the thinner one is the safer bet. Unless you have already tried larger eternity bands on and found them wearable.

hi! I am really sorry

that I ''ve fogotten to say thank you for everybody who gave me advice in this post.

sevens one thank you very much for post the picture.
hand shot was really helped me to decided which one I make order.

whenever I buy ring I would be really confused... end up I am tired and feel sick...
but since I found PS form I feel more easy to make mind because people''s advice.
onece again thank you very much

How big of a deal is the price for you? I have been looking at eternity bands lately myself and signed peices are lovely but also more expensive... If you like the single prong you may want to shop around a bit more and find a better price.

just curious where you have seen eternity bands less than signed pieces?

Honestly I don''t think you would see a difference because the stones are small. Did you already get the one your ordered??

Matatora
I already made order Eternity from signed pieces
wow?is there more better price one? that''s good news

I went to see many shop and also sarch internet, however I coudn''t find as good as signed pieces

hi! kaleigh
yes I did order ring last week
I did oreder 1.74 ct one.it''s takes 2-3 weeks that Issac told me.

now I am thinking to get

1)some 2 mm width thin width Eternity
I love thin width ring.
or

2) FACETS Platinum 25 Asscher Cut

BUT I also want to get

3) leon mege eternity.(attach the pic) what do you think?

4)harry''s wreath ring which made of marquise and pear

if the leon mege ring''s price is close to Harry''s wreath ring which marquise and pear
I''d later go for harry,

I don''t think I can get all of them....

my choise is 1 + only one from 2. 3. 4

ooo, that is a very pretty Leon ring, of course I love ALL of Leon''s rings. From what I''ve heard his prices are less than most of the big name designers like Harry Winston, Tacori, Michael B, etc. The best way to reach Leon is by phone first thing in the morning. He will usually answer the phone himself and could probably give you a quote on that ring right away. I think the #2 signed pieces ring would be very lovely as well. I know how tough it is to decide, they are all sooooo pretty

hi!! mrssalvo.
thank you very much for the good information about Leon.
first I will call him in the morning.
I am not the big fan of marquise.. but the ring is so beautiful...
I only worry is that am I tired in the future soon?
I got many ring but 80% is not wearing at all and those are sitting inside in my jewley box forever.
so I am trying to chose something simple.

>I know how tough it is to decide, they are all sooooo pretty

yes..it''s tough... but fun..but tough

I am basing my pricing on the fact that I wear a size six. Ez-Creations a female friend of mine just bought the Bar Eternity Band and I was shockied to see how pretty it was and how much something that size will sparkle. I am thinking about ordering one myself, as soon as I convince SO that it wont compeate with my e-ring...(he told me xmas for that).

those prices are for 14k gold and 18k white gold. if you get it in plat. (the bar set one) it is very close to the prices of signed pieces. signed pieces will also do their rings in 18k and the cost is less than what they have listed. If you end up going with ez-creations you'll have to Let us know about the quality. I always love to find new ways to save
$$

yep.. signed pieces really seem like the lowest prices around..

btw.. flower.. I''m planning on going with..
FACETS Platinum 26 Round Brilliant Diamonds, 1.03ct. tw. F-G color VVS-VS clarity (Stock number F1641)

and in size 3 18k white gold.. it will only be
$996.55

which is a freaking bargain.

I found that doing a search for signed pieces on here is REALLY helpful because you can see pics of like.. EVERYONES signed pieces rings and compare them all.

Does anyone know who made PB&J''s eternity ring?

colbart girl bought and eternity band from overstock and complained about it hurting her fingers. here's the link
you could always try it and return it if it didn't work.

PB & J's eternity band is from signed pieces.

Flower,
Wow that is some ring. Leon''s rings are amazing!! Let us know what you decide!!!

After much thought, and with much thanks to Mrs Salvo I emailed Signed Peices about an eternity band in WG, I want to save platnium for my wedding set. We weill see if the price matches [$$)]with EZ creations if it does then I will go with them. If not I will be sure to post the one from EZ creations.
