Wow! Dress two seems to be the winner!!!!
I reallly loved it when I put it on. I felt comfortable in it, like I could actually MOVE.
I also really loved how light the fabric was. Perfect for getting married on the lake. The best part about it is that I think I only have to take it up a couple of inches. If you look at the photo it looks a little sloppy toward the bottom, but once it''s raised it should float properly. The lady tried to give me an idea of what it would look like.
The only bad thing about it is I can''t remember what the back looked like!
But I''m sure I liked it. I think I''d remember if it was ugly.
I tried on number 2 last, actually. The dress that I tried on before that was number 1 (the $4000 dress that everyone LOVED)
Number 1 just wasn''t me. I liked it, but I felt like I was wearing a costume, you know? But when I put on number two I really loved it. The saleslady wasn''t as thrilled with that one as number 1 though...probably cause it''s $3000 less!!!
Gypsy, thank you for the links. I''m inbetween classes right now so I''ll have to check them out later. I have a strong inking I''m going to go for dress number 2 though...
Joy80....My mom and I couldn''t find it on her site either!!! I have no idea if it''s a new dress or a discontinued dress. I have no clue what the design number is....NOTHING!
I will call the bridal salon today to see if they can give me more info. Actually, I''ll call them right now to find out for you. BRB!!!
Oh, and the one that everyone thought was a Jim Hjelm was actually a Maggie Sottero as well. (Number 4)
So if anyone wants the Jim Hjelm look for way less, that's the way to go. The dress was only $599!
Joy...I may have been wrong. I could have sworn the lady told me it was discontinued on the phone, but when my mom called to find out more about it, the same lady told her it was a limited edition.
