I had that same reaction, and then I noticed the price.

I really like that ruby they added too.

I'd love that bixbite! And its nearly half a carat. I had a teacher once with oval bixbite studs, and the glow on them was surreal. I don't know if all bixbite is like that, but they were jawdroppingly gorgeous.

The ruby is very nice as well. And someone got a bargain in that Afghani tourmaline pair.

I was really tempted by the whopper pear JXR amethyst. I sent off an email a while ago but still haven''t gotten a response . . . wonder if someone got to it before me.

I like the cab as well. I think it would make a beautiful pendant.

I like the sugilite as well as the mint euclase, but both are way out of my budget. Nothing else really grabbed me this time. I would have been gaga over the faceted Ethiopian opal had I not bought one from their ebay auctions a few months ago...

Both the sugilite and Ethiopian opal caught my eye, but for some reason, I did not get the email update at all and so missed a chance at getting something nice.

They must be having a computer glitch. I would send an email if you are interested in those stones. You never know! Maybe Im the only one but I really like the quartz with inclusion.

I had an email first thing this morning from Brad, saying that I DID get it -- WOOHOO! I guess maybe that was before the email started having problems. I replied that I definitely wanted it, just waiting to see from him how he wants me to pay. I''m so giddy . . . can''t wait to see my mini boulder. LOL

I also splurged and picked up the 16x12mm amethyst cab from Barry last night . . . if there''s any doubt about my favorite gem . . . I think that pretty much solidified it. LOL

The first thing to pop into my head on seeing that sugilite was a line from "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." While the color''s different, the phrase "You might even say it glows" seems especially apt!
