I want to have this created--questions

I went back to Michael C Fina today and tried on the JB Star emerald and trapezoid ring that I love.

The ring I tried on had a 2.03 center emerald, .66 total carat weight for the side trapezoids.
1. Is this too complicated to have created?
2. What questions do I need to ask my jeweler to determine if he is qualified to do this?
3. I need to stay within a $20k budget-what size stones do you think this budget will afford me?

Is the $20K budget for the setting only or does it include the center stone?

What is the cost of the one on the website?

This is for the entire ring-setting and center stone. I believe that the setting in the store was around 11K and the stone was 26 or something.

That ring has a lot of diamonds on it. Not to complicated to make but your bigger stones will have to come down in size. Are you going to do it in WG?

Probably white gold. I do not care about white gold v. platinum so I will go with the cheaper of the 2.

Also,

I was browsing the diamond selection on blue nile because I do not know much about emerald pricing. I searched for Emeralds around 2 carats, good cut and above, SI12 and above, color H and above and the prices vary between around 10k and 14k. Is this accurate? I really have no idea what to expect here. Thanks.

Mark Morrel, or Mark T at ERD? ERD certainly could, I don''t think it''s MM''s style, but you could call and find out for sure.
