I'd go with the opinion of the good people at JA. #1 is the one that he picks? Looks good to me.
 
Yea the first one is the one he thought was the best. Even with the thick girdle

The next step is to get the diamond appraised I supposed right? Will they send this to a local appraiser does anyone know?

How did you figure this anyway? and what is a correct spread?
