Hello everyone,

I've been doing a lot of diamond research/learning in the last couple of weeks but diamond images still confuse me. Could I get opinions on this diamond? I wanted to find a diamond around .8 ct for under $3000.

It is from a PS vendor and I think it is a good deal but I would really appreciate some incite from someone with more incite as I've never purchased a diamond before. Here are the stats:

The Ideal-Scope wasn't taken as cleanly as one would like. Which lab graded it? It's probably GIA but wanted to check. At SI2 I'd ask them about visible inclusions and how they affect the performance and durability of the stone. That could be a lot of twinning wisps to make it an SI2! :read:

HCA Score = 1.6 (generally anything under 2 is good)

Do you have the GIA certificate #?

Thank you both for your replies :) I attached the GIA certificate. The PS vendor recommending this diamond is Id jewelers and I am making a custom setting with them.

It's eye clean enough for you?

I have not seen it in person. The seller states that it is eye clean. Is this something I should be concerned with? Since I'm getting the setting and diamond from the same seller, I don't think I will get to see the diamond until it is placed into the setting? Is there more information I should request from the seller? Any advice is welcome !!
