... with Leon Mege AND Richard Landi! I feel like a two timer, but I can''t decide who I love more

Now, I''ve heard that Leon Mege only does custom work, but I''ve seen his rings listed on GOG -- how does that work? I''ve emailed GOG twice asking questions and haven''t heard back.

Also, if I have to ask the price, does that mean I can''t afford it?? This from the girl trying to squeeze 2cts out of $10,000.

Anyone have a ring from either designer? I would love to see pictures!

there are quite a few leon pieces here. i don''t recall any specific richard landi''s but i have seen his site and the pieces look great. try doing a search here for both designers. i know you will find several from leon. as with all designers, especially well known ones, the prices are significantly more than stock pieces. if you have a specific design in mind that a designer specializes in, it would be worth the cost to have them do it. even if it does cost a pretty penny.

Richard Landi is very expensive. You have good taste! I priced a split prong setting at $4000. I''d say the prices are in line with designers such as Tacori. Leon Mege is probably in line with these. I''m sure GOG works with him to have rings custom made. But you can do it yourself as well.

I had a feeling it was going to be expensive. I''ve been told I have expensive taste -- by my dh of course!

The people at good old gold might be on vacation, so that''s why they haven''t written you back.

Some of the pieces in Leon Mege''s catalog *may* be more affordable-I was quoted $1200 for one his solitaire settings back in April.
