Well my wedding date is October 10, 2009! Yes 36 days away and we just put an offer on a house today with a 30 day close of escrow!!!! My Fiance thinks I am nuts, but we both loved the house and have been looking for the perfect house for over 5 months! Send some dust my way!!!!!

Oooooh good luck! We actually closed on our house exactly a month after our wedding! Although it''s been stressful it''s totally worth it! And it''s really fun to save all your presents for the new house so then you have a new house with all new stuff. I hope you get it!

Somethings need to get done and will/can be stressful no matter when you do them. Now can be a great time to buy so IMHO you would be foolish not to buy if you can and the perfect property came up.

i''m getting married 10-10, and if i were closing..well, i''d just about lose my effing mind. but consider yourself lucky. we tried to sell our condo for 2 years & took it off the market to to a building repair requiring scaffolding followed by the wedding. i registered for a place we don''t live.
