i would appreciate any last minute advice.
1.50 ct I VS2
HCA: 1.3 Excellent
Table: 56
Depth: 61.8
Crown Angle- 34.5
Pavilion Angle- 40.8
Price- about 8700

My only concerns which i would appreciate any input/advice are:
1) i have learned from the best (you guys) a bit about what to look for in cut. This diamond seems to be very well cut with appropriate angles, HCA 1.3 etc.. Am i missing anything or do you all feel it is well cut?

2) VS2 worries me a bit and i don''t know if i can verify that it is eye clean until i would have it and be able to return it. Do you feel based on the GIA report, it will be "eye clean"? I know this can be tough to tell but i guess my question is do you feel there are in red flags based on the GIA report layout of the diamond?

THANKS to all of you for your information, advice, and guidance.

Numbers look great!

The vast, vast, vast majority of GIA VS2s will be eyeclean. Don''t use the report to determine if it will be eyeclean - the report tells you where the inclusions are, and if feathers/wisps how far they stretch, but it tells you nothing about how severe/visible they are.

Yap, numbers look good and relatively safe. VS2 should be eye-clean, at least from the table view. No harm asking BN to check it out if you are worried and you still have the 30 days return period.

numbers look great! I think you would be fine with VS2.

As far as can be told without an Idealscope image, it * should* be a good looking diamond.

The numbers suggest an excellent cut.

Most VS2's are eye clean. The one's that have "borderline visible inclusions" will not be seen by casual observers. VS2 is probably the best balance of near-guaranteed eye clean at a very reasonable cost.
The VS2's at greatest risk of not being eye clean tend to have a cluster of crystals in one small region, under the table. Clusters of VS2 crystals are much harder to see in any other locations on the diamond because the facets (windows) are too small to see into.

Only an extremely small proportion of VS2 stones have visible inclusions and you have to inspect them for several minutes at about six inches to have much chance of seeing the inclusions (even the worst VS2's are on the threshold of human eye resolution) and even fewer have inclusions that you could find without looking at the plot to find out where to look.

The grade-setting inclusion in your stone is a cloud. A VS2 cloud is of no concern whatsoever, since it will be just a small, slightly misty area inside the stone that no human will be able to see.

Personally, I would be much more concerned about the slightly-yellow-tinted I colour than the VS2 inclusions. But some people like the "warmer" colours with the slightly off-white "antique" look.
Some will say that I-J can face up colourless, but that's only true when they are in dazzling light conditions. In other conditions - especially when compared to a D, or when there isn't a strong return of light from the diamond - they have a very noticeable tint.
