I *think* I found my mount... opinions please!

DH and I are picking up my diamond upgrade (15th anniversary) next week. It's a princess cut 1.91 from ERD.

Here is the setting I'm thinking about:

My WB is a plain, comfort fit, just shy of 3mm. Looking at this setting, my WB should be able to sit flush against it right?

I have sent an e-mail to the vendor to see if I can change the color of the stones to H/I as my princess cut is an I.

Any other thoughts or opinions?

For rounds and ASET is not as helpful as an Idealscope image. That's why they don't provide the ASET. They do provide an Idealscope image, so ask for one.

I'm not sure - it looks like the flare for the center stone prongs starts fairly low, which could prevent a true flush fit. On the other hand, if the top of your band is rounded at all, it could fit just right. You should ask the vendor whether the head would interfere with a true flush fit.

Is the setting too thin / delicate? How would the bezel stones hold up in terms of wear? Anything else?

Thanks VRBeauty, my WB is slightly rounded so I think I'll be fine. I'll be sure to ask the vendor though

So the vendor said they can't change the stones to color H/I, and that the diamonds are pre-set at VS1 to VS2 and F/G in color.

Will my VS1, I color look O.K. then? Seeing that the stones are so small?

The vendor also mentioned that this should sit flush with my WB and that I should have no issue.

I never worry about a small gap because I actually prefer it since it doesn't make the rings look like one wide ring. So I wouldn't worry about that either way.

Tiny stones do not show color like a larger stone, so I think it would be pretty irrelevant unless ERD recommends against putting I color in the setting. But I think people do it all the time.

I wouldn't worry about the color difference personally. I'd worry that the band could not be resized.
