I sold my OEC...

To my mom's boyfriend, he is going to propose on Saturday!

My mom turns 60 this year, has never been married, never been engaged, and never owned a diamond. I am ridiculously happy for her, and so glad I was able to pass along my beautiful OEC. I would not have wanted it to go to anyone else!

And, since I am an only child, it will be mine again one day anyways

I am so happy for her. I will post hand shots when she says yes!

I offered it to him when I first got it but he was not ready, and then the other day he e-mailed asking if he could buy it! How could I say no? He is not into diamonds, and I know she would not have such a gorgeous diamond if not for this one coming along into my life at just the right time. The setting even suits her style. She will love it.
