So I stopped by a jewelry store last week and the guy told me he will get me some stones to look at. I told him about pricescope and that i am big on HCA. So he brings in a couple stones with printed out hca scores and I choose this one. Which he says he can sell for $7800 plus TAX. I try to negotiate and he says the lowest price he can sell it for is 7200 plus TAX($7700). I get a copy of the cert and just by luck i happen to find what looked like to be an identical stone on pricescope. So i call the online dealer vrify the cert number matches up and THEY DO. Except i can by ot online for $6900 and not pay tax! Although i liked the jeweler i would be an idiot to not purchase it online for about $800 less! Anyway here is the diamond it is being shipped as we speak. I will get it appraised and make sure everything is good! I think i did good. I hope i dont get dissapointed after getting it under an idealscope!

Nice! Many of the vendors, online or retail stores, access the same database so this scenario happens every now and then.

Which online vendor did you get your diamond from?

That''s a great size! Let us know how it checks out.
