I need your expertise, it’s upgrade time!!

I received a promotion and that means it’s time to upgrade earlier than expected!! I’m looking for a ~2.5 carat, ideal cut with excellent polish and symmetry, GCAL/GIA preferred but okay with an expertise eye IGI. HPHT created. Looking for it to lean fiery blingtastic, not a fan of 60/60 cuts. Eye clean VS2 or better, G or higher color. I’m super sensitive to brown tint. Ideally looking to keep it less than $2500 anddd the catch…it has to be through the Art of Jewel site as I’m upgrading through them and trading in my existing ring. Has to be at least $2200 to be upgrade eligible.

I’ll post some I think may be worthy, but I feel inferior compared to your expertise!

Oh wow! Thank you! I actually love both. One question. On the 2.47, is the 35.0 crown too shallow for the pavilion? I really want lots of fire!!

I think I might have linked the wrong one. The 35 crown is great for a 40.5 pavilion, but for a ring diamond I usually recommend 40.6-40.9 pavilion. Let me see if I can find the stone I meant to link.

Yes, the crown angle is on the high side--this is why I mentioned wanting to see an ASET image to verify light return.
 
Okay, I gave up on TAOJ. They don’t have any good diamonds right now. Going to post a few from Ritani.
 
Either the 2.47 or 2.48 that Kim N posted will be lovely and lean towards fiery!
The 40.5° PA pairs well with the 35° CA for this one, plus I see no minor symmetry issues or blue nuance for either.
Pick the one you like better from the pictures and videos, Runningmama.

I actually ended up purchasing the 2.47 before I saw this! I went to a few websites and did a PS search and the “ideal” cuts just aren’t great for the prices right now. We all know I’ll end up upgrading again in a year anyway.

It almost looks like it has a touch of blue nuance in that video, but I don’t see any in real life! Does it meet the technical performance marks? I just wanted it to be well cut and lean fiery.

No blue nuance that I can detect...edges of the crown area have a slight yellowish concentration instead of turquoise. :)
