I'm sorry you're suffering, it sucks! When I broke my leg and knee, I developed a skin allergy t o the stoopid leg immobilizerThe ortho surgeon told me to wear it as little as possible and still be immobile. I quit wearing it at home, used Atarax at night and triamcinolone ointment 0.01% during the day.
Zyrtec is better than benadryl when it comes to itch, and Atarax (hydroxyzine) is even better.
Oh how awful! I hope you get better quick!I went to get my stitches out Monday. The boot has been rubbing on the incision and causing pain but I didn’t peek. They said leave it alone. It’s infected and raw and looks really nasty. Now I’m on augmentin and off Vicodin because I was getting hives. Tramadol instead.
