I'm really sorry that this happened, no matter what. It's a tough situation all around and I don't blame you for feeling slighted. Wow. At the same time, she didn't do anything inherently wrong...and there have been similar stories here on PS...it's not that you should've known better at all...I wish that people who were looking to copy would ask first but that is really too much to ask of them, I think! Very difficult situation. Kama, I love your rings and I hope you don't change your love for them because of this. They are unique to you and your husband because they were first yours and your style. Someone else loved your style enough to recreate them and here you go. Hugs.
Yup, you pretty much outlined my train of thought, Monnie. She definitely didn't do anything wrong, and I truly want her to be in love with her set. I feel bad for feeling bad about this trivial issue. And to be honest, if I had to press rewind, I still would not have hesitated in helping her get her rings. So I don't exactly know where that leaves me?
I definitely will never stop loving my rings, they are too special to me. And I know I will get over her copying them, but it honestly really felt good to be able to share my thoughts here on PS and to read what all you wonderful ladies had to say. She loves her rings and I am happy for her.
