High all, I want to buy some studs for my wife so she has them for mothers day. I know I should have started looking long ago and I kinda did but so many things happened.

We just got done going though the whole breast cancer deal, she is 36. Chemo, mastectomy and radiation. I would like to find a very nice set of studs, of course the bigger the better as long as the cut is perfect. My budget is between 3k-4k.

Color and clarity are last on my list, so I guess cut, size and then color and clarity.

I would love if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thank you very much,

Ronnie

PS I forgot to say Round brilliant.

Check out Brian Gavin''s site. If you like the modern cuts, they just don''t get any better.

That''s very sweet of you. I wish you and your wife the very best with her recovery.

I have studs on my wishlist and there are many options. Whiteflash has studs with all different settings that are "ready to go." Bluenile also has studs that you can pick in any size. They are also having a 10% off for Mother''s Day.
Good luck!

another option would be to contact Jim from jamesallen.com to pick out something for you. He has a good eye, very competitive pricing, and it was a pleasure to work with him.

I went to blue nile and picked these out for no particular reason.

I guess I really don''t enough to look at each stone and determine whether it will dazzle her or not.

In that price range there were 44 pairs, would there be that much difference in them?

Best wishes to you and your wife in these tough times... hoping for a speedy recovery for her! It''s wonderful that you''re picking such a great present for her.

About the BN earrings -- personally I would stay away from SI2 if buying from Blue Nile because you just don''t get that much info from them. I don''t think there is enough of a guarantee that they will be eyeclean.

Someone else recommended James Allen -- you may want to try asking about these. If eye clean, they could be very nice:
0.70 H SI1 1.3-EX
ex-ex-vg-vg 0
H&A 61.2% 56.8% 33.8° 41° thn-sl thi no id id neg 5.71*5.76*3.51 AGS $1980
0.70 H SI1 1.9-EX
ex-vg-vg-vg 0
H&A 62.1% 53.9% 34.9° 40.9° thn-med no id id neg 5.70*5.74*3.55 AGS $1980

Or as someone else suggested, you could call over to Brian Gavin -- you can''t do better in terms of cut, and they should be able to find something beautiful in your budget!

Good luck!

Best wishes to your wife getting through this difficult time and I am sending her mega get well wishes.

She will love the studs.

I love to use this tool to find round brilliants and select Excellent Excellent for Cut Rank and then chose the color range and clarity range. https://www.pricescope.com/sift.aspx If the stones are in house you can ask if they are eye clean in the SI1 and SI2 range.

maybe these from High Performance; here is the website, http://highperformancediamonds.com/ ask if they are eye clean

Definitely try White Flash! I hope she gets better soon, stay strong
