His CAT scan shows a very extensive pneumonia but thank god no underlying pathology. He will still need follow up scans to confirm he doesn't have a type of cancer called lymphoma when the pneumonia clears, but this is not likely.

He will be in hospital for at least a week for iv antibiotics and monitoring for complications. Then he will take months to recuperate. I will marry him on the 2nd of July even it means I have to rope in the hospital chaplain and marry him on the ward.

Your prayers have really helped. Thank you thank you.
 
Glad to hear his condition isn't as bad as you feared. The wedding plan you described in your post sounds like a good back-up plan, but hopefully it won't come to that. I hope your FI's additional tests all indicate good news and he recovers quickly. Try to get some rest, sweetie. Sending strength and healing dust.

He's not responding to the antibiotics and is now anaemic.

His antibiotics were changed yesterday (i had to push for this but i wont get into that now) and he feels better today.

PS dust is powerful stuff, please keep it coming.

I must admit I'm a bit choked up that so many people who have never met me are so kind to us. You are all a great comfort to me!
